Added
- Terms of use, a privacy notice and a page of fan content and trademark notices.
- An accessibility statement, with how accessible the site is and how to report a problem.
- This changelog.
- A Send feedback link at the foot of every page.
- The Rainbow Six Siege X tool. Choose your map, bomb site, side, bans and rank, and add both teams. It shows the operators that fit, the utility your team still needs and what each pick counters, with the reason for every point.
- Clear all, with Undo for 10 seconds, and a Sample round button in the Siege tool. Each visit starts with an empty round. It remembers only your side and rank.
Changed
- The home page now shows both live games, with Overwatch featured and Siege listed beside it.
- The Overwatch ban picker now shows ban rates from Season 5 (8 to 14 October, all ranks). Ban suggestions say "recent ban rate".
Fixed
- On the home page in Safari-based browsers, clicking some rows of the games list could open the Overwatch tool instead of the game you clicked.
Added
- A Clear all button in the Overwatch tool, in the top bar and under the teams. It resets the teams, bans, map, point and side, then shows Undo for 10 seconds.
- A "Skip to the picks" link for keyboard users.
Changed
- The Overwatch tool opens with an empty match every visit. It remembers only your role, rank band and starred heroes.
- A new layout. On a computer the page is one column. From 1100 pixels wide, the map, bans, both teams and your pick sit together in one wide band. On a phone, each role is one row, with your player on the left and theirs on the right.
- Larger text and buttons throughout the Overwatch tool.
- Overwatch's Season 5 data is checked against the official patch notes. Doctrine's drones now give 30% attack speed in the synergy text.
- Games without a tool yet show our own title covers.
Fixed
- The Overwatch tool no longer jumps around as it loads on a phone.
- Buttons in the Overwatch tool are named by the words you see on them, so voice control works with them.
- Headings in the tool no longer skip a level, so moving around by heading works properly.
- The white text on the red "Enemy team" heading is easier to read.
- After you choose a hero, a ban or a swap, keyboard focus no longer jumps back to the top of the page.
- The hero and map pickers keep keyboard focus inside them while they are open.
Added
- The home page: 25 competitive games in six groups, each with its current patch, the next known patch and whether its tool is live.
- The Overwatch tool. Enter both teams, the map and point, any bans and your rank, and get the heroes for your role in order, with the points behind each pick.
- A settings page where you can switch off visit counting and clear what the site has saved in your browser.
- Visit counting with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It's on by default and you can switch it off on the settings page.
- A new logo.
Changed
- The home page loads smaller copies of each game's art, sized to your screen. On a phone the page now downloads about 60% less.
- The Overwatch tool's script loads sooner on a slow connection, so the picks appear sooner.
- Overwatch uses the Season 5 roster: Doctrine joins as a Support, Sombra moves to Support, Roadhog is reworked and Watchpoint: Grímsvötn is added. Their picks were marked provisional until the patch notes were checked on 6 October.
- Most games without a tool yet show their name instead of the publisher's art.
Fixed
- On a computer, the Overwatch tool jumps much less as it finishes loading.
- "None announced" in the Overwatch row on the home page was too faint to read on yellow.
- Keyboard users can skip straight past the menu to the list of games.
- Screen readers now read out how strong each Overwatch pick is.
